Failure to thrive

Here Sister Anna is working with a
toddler at the Center with failure to
thrive. He has given up on trying to
live and we are trying to "bring him
back" and make him want to live. It
requires persistence on our part
feeding him, forcing liquids, touching
and stimulating him. His mother is
mentally ill and this child has lacked
stimulation much too long.
